Unit 2 :Question 1-3 assighment

Question 1 : I think the reason of those students choose to cheat is that some students have no thoughts to write thier articles and thay are very lazy to do thier homework. They do copy other articles from the Internet or books rather than think about what they can write it down, even a little of thoughts . I think the mistake of cheating is not all because of stuednts. Taiwanese education system has a big problem, the majority of students only care about thier study score. There are a lots of reasons cause this kind of problem. First, when we are as a child, some of parents tell us what we have to do is to study, study, study and study so that we have more chances to get a great job, which contains a lot of money and you do not have to work so hard. Second, it is concerned about the society background, many company's bosses don't too care about your looking, they only hire those people who have high-level educational background. Thus, students choose to cheat to achieve the society expectation.

Question 2 :The punishment of cheating on exams or class work in Taiwan is to fail the exam, so the score is zero. But the course is not failed. Actually, I think it is fair to other people, but I find out that so many teachers do not discover students are cheating in the class. Maybe they believe in students and maybe thay do not pay too much attention on what are students doing in the class. I've been seen many students cheated in the class when the teacher was present, but I didn't know what could I do because they were my friends. I was facing the dilemma of protecting my classmates or telling the truth to the teacher. I think the

Question 3: In my opinion, some people think they won't get caught if they are cheating , it's obvious that they have no sence of shame. So, if someone cheat in the class, we should give him/her a warning and record a demerit, and then, announce the list of the cheater's name in the school. Let everybody know his/her name. It is a immaterial stress on the student, maybe the punishment could arouse his/her sence of shame.
