Real Face-Brandon
This movie is also talking about gay people, and it is based on actual events. Brandon Teena is a lesbian, and she wants to be a man. She cuts short hair, dresses like as a guy and dates with young women. One day, however, she dates with hometown beauty Lana; she's forgotten to mention one important detail. When Lana's best friends make this discovery, Brandon's life is ripped apart. Lana's friends, Nissen and Lotter, pursue Brandon and violently rape her in Nissen's car. In the end of the story, Brandon was shot by Nissen and Lotter.
I saw the movie at school. This movie is really amazing, and I'm stunned by the story. A weird and squalid story ? A terrible and true story ! All is shown in this film is about nothing but truth. Brandon is really like as a man, a beautiful man, and each of women all appealed by him. But Brandon hid the truth of her gender. Before the truth was discoveryed, Brandon's life was good. Besides, Lana really loved Brandon; she didn't care about Brandon's secret. She even wanted to leave her city to another with Brandon. She changed her mind, however, maybe it was not what she wanted in her deep mind. I think this is a film you must experience if you haven't.
