What's in a name field

Naming your child is a big responsibility. Should the name be traditional or unique? Tech-savvy parents now have another criterion; is the name serchable online? It seems that if you can't be found on Google, you don't exist. A recent survey showed that 7% of all searchs are for personal names; 80% of executive researchers for people's names; and 40% of people say they've used search engines to hunt down long-lost friends. As a result, parents-to-be are plugging in names to scout out the competition, so thier little daring stands out in a cyberspace crowd.
