He discovered that the longer animals had been with thier owners, the more likely they were to share similar traits. He found people who have dogs believe they are cheerful and fun-loving, while cat lovers consider themselves dependable and sensitive. Fish owners those apparently the most contented, while those who keep reptiles are the most independent.
